Who is Elan Parra?
Admitted to practice law for over 15 years, Mr. Parra has had a varied career and the practical business experience client's need to evaluate and develop a legal strategy suited for your individual needs. After clerking after graduating law school, he began his career with the Corporation Counsel for New York City. For seven years he prosecuted and defended over 500 cases, litigating in state and federal court.

He went on to work for Mayor Michael Bloomberg for several years, overseeing a billion dollar construction portfolio and negotiating the progress of capital improvement projects citywide. During his last year at the Mayor's office, Mr. Parra led the Mayor's Office of Special Enforcement, investigating and bringing affirmative litigation on behalf of the city in state court.
For the last ten years, Mr. Parra has furthered his expertise as a consultant for two different firms, providing guidance and advice to individuals, business owners, banks, law firms, non-profits, and public entities, in the areas of compliance, risk management and mitigation, governance, procurement and organizational restructuring. Whether advising an individual client on legacy planning and wealth transfer to across international boarders, or facilitating the development of a strategic plan to improve a large public entity, Mr. Parra has developed the legal experience, aptitude and business sense to problem solve and execute strategic solutions.
